Cancellations & Refunds

  • Full refunds are available if the School of Continuing Education cancels a course.
  • If you must withdraw from a course, simply notify us at least 30 days before the course begins and we will attempt to accommodate you into another course or issue you a refund less a $100 cancellation fee.
  • Registrations cancelled less than 30 days before the course start date will not be eligible for a refund.
  • A $25 fee will be charged for all NSF cheques.

Waiver Form

Within two weeks of registering, you will receive a welcome package and a mandatory waiver form to the email address you provide. The waiver will collect all information required to attend camp. This form must be submitted before you can participate in the camp.

If a medical condition requires special attention or caution, please notify the Camp Director prior to the start of camp.

Every care and attention will be given to the well-being and safety of participants in MusiCamp Alberta. All participants will be supervised both day and night. A high standard of conduct is expected at all times.

Any unacceptable behaviour will be dealt with by the supervisors or camp director, and violators will be sent home with no refund of registration.

Supervisors cannot be held responsible for any accidents that may occur.

Please note: The use of cell phones or internet devices is prohibited during rehearsals, classes and organized recreation. We reserve the right to confiscate cell phones/internet devices.

Medications must be sent in original pharmacy bottle, correctly labeled with doctor’s and student’s name, and instructions. All medications (including aspirin, acetaminophen and ibuprofen) must be turned in at check-in. Medications will be administered by camp staff.

Emergency hospital and clinical services are readily available to MusiCamp Alberta. Supervisors are on 24-hour duty at the workshop. If a student requires a prescription and does not have sufficient pocket money for same, parent/guardian will be advised and be requested to pay.

  • Bring 1 friend – 10% discount on your camp registration
  • Bring 2 friends – 15% discount on your camp registration
  • Bring 3 friends – 20% discount on your camp registration
  • Bring 4 or more friends – 25% discount on your camp registration

Please Note:

  1. Discount only applies when you recommend friends who have never attended an RDC overnight camp.
  2. If multiple students recommend the same friend, the discount is applied to the student who registers first.
  3. Discount only applies to RDC’s overnight Summerscapes, MusiCamp, Film, Game Design and Animation Camps.
  4. Discount will be applied as a credit to your 2018 camp registration.

The personal information that you provide on this form is being collected under the authority of the Post-Secondary Learning Act and the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act of Alberta.

  • The information will be used by the School of Continuing Education for purposes including registrations, providing tax receipts, recruitment, distributing follow-up educational information, college research, and statistical reporting.

Your consent is required to use your personal information, of which a photo is considered, by Red Deer College for the purpose of developing promotional materials which may include brochures, audio-visual productions, print and electronic documents or productions.

As noted above, your personal image and information will be protected in compliance with the provisions of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act of Alberta.

You will be asked if you would like to provide or decline your consent at the time of registration.
