MusiCamp Alberta 2024

MusiCamp Alberta is accepting applications for summer supervisors (fondly referred to as “supes.”) Supes are responsible for managing the recreation part of camp for the campers, and build connections between and with campers that turn into lifelong friendships. Supes should be 19 years of age or older, should not have added MusiCamp in the summer of 2023, and should be interested in spending two and a half weeks this summer making camp the best it can be for every camper. Previous attendance at MusiCamp is not necessary but it is beneficial. Registrations for MusiCamp 2024 are open! We are excited to announce the following programs:

  • DAVID J PETERKIN SYMPHONIC BAND, July 21 to July 27. Recommended for students ages 15-18, with at least three years of instrument experience.
  • FRANK E DUNNIGAN CONCERT BAND, July 21 to July 27. Recommended for students ages 13-16, with at least one year of instrument experience.
  • JAZZ BAND WORKSHOP, July 28 to August 3. Recommended for students ages 13-18, with at least one year of instrument experience.
  • MUSICAL THEATRE PERFORMANCE, July 28 to August 3. Recommended for students ages 12-18, with any level of experience.

 

AGE RESTRICTION

The age limit to register and attend MusiCamp is 18, and cannot turn 19 prior to the start of camp. 

SCHOLARSHIPS and BURSARIES

Bursaries are available through RDP for those who need financial assistance. Bursary applications will open soon but are not yet open. Please go to the Bursary Applications.

Scholarships are also available, and you must submit a link to a recording demonstrating your musical ability. Please download and submit the Scholarship application

You can apply for both Bursaries and Scholarships, and the deadline for application is May 31, 2024.

Another scholarship opportunity is the Mike Achtymichuk Scholarship. This is a $1000 award open from May 1st to June 30th, so apply soon!
